Overview

We are recruiting for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join a well-respected environmental consultancy in Bristol. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced flood risk professional who wants to take ownership of technical delivery while continuing to develop within a supportive, high quality consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and review Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies
  • Deliver SuDS design and drainage modelling using InfoDrainage or similar tools
  • Support feasibility studies, masterplanning and planning submissions
  • Engage with clients, regulators and internal project teams
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Produce clear, concise and high quality technical reports

About You

  • At least four years UK experience in flood risk and drainage planning
  • Strong user of InfoDrainage with solid SuDS design experience
  • Confident with planning policy, drainage standards and the NPPF
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS
  • Strong communication, leadership and report writing skills
  • Organised, motivated and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
