The Role
As a Senior Associate Town Planner, you will lead a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including residential, mixed-use, commercial, education, healthcare, and regeneration. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help shape planning strategies, manage client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of the London office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading complex planning projects from inception through to determination.
- Providing strategic planning advice to a wide range of clients.
- Preparing and reviewing planning appraisals, applications, appeals, and policy representations.
- Managing and developing client relationships, identifying opportunities for repeat business.
- Supporting business development activities, including networking and tender submissions.
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the planning team.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary design and technical teams.
About You
To be considered, you will ideally possess:
- MRTPI chartered status.
- Significant experience within either consultancy or the private sector.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and planning policy.
- A proven track record of managing projects and client relationships.

- Commercial awareness and an ability to identify new business opportunities.
