Overview
My client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Gas Contracts Manager to oversee and manage commercial heating contracts and projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth delivery of contracts, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple commercial heating contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Lead and support a team of engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise when required.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain quality control.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Manage budgets, resources, and schedules effectively to optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in the commercial heating industry, with a strong understanding of commercial boilers, plant rooms, and associated systems.
- Commercial gas qualifications (current or previously held).
- Proven experience in managing contracts and leading teams in a professional environment.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to handle challenges effectively.
- A valid UK driving licence.
Day-to-Day
- Conduct site visits to oversee ongoing projects/contracts and ensure quality standards are met.
- Liaise with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships.
- Manage and support your team of engineers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
- Review project budgets, schedules, and progress to ensure targets are met.
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the course of a project.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and innovation.
