Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos surveying services across the South West.

THE ROLE
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys across a diverse range of client sites throughout Bristol and the surrounding region. Working independently and alongside an experienced operations team, you will ensure all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining compliance with HSG264, current legislation, and UKAS procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties
- Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
- Managing your own diary and workload efficiently
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Maintaining accurate records using electronic reporting systems
- Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
