The Role
As a Graduate Energy Modeller, you'll support the delivery of sustainable and energy-efficient building projects. Working closely with experienced engineers, you'll gain practical experience across modelling, analysis, and on-site testing. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with energy modelling to evaluate building performance and efficiency
- Support on-site airtightness testing and data collection
- Contribute to ensuring compliance with Part L and other building regulations
- Produce technical reports and develop 3D models for project delivery
- Work closely with engineers and consultants on live projects
Day-to-Day Duties
- Carry out building performance analysis using industry-standard software
- Visit project sites to assist with testing and surveys
- Use tools such as Bluebeam for measurements and scaling
- Create models using software including IES and SketchUp
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to develop your knowledge
About You
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, or similar
- Exposure to IES software through studies or placement experience
