An established and highly regarded multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit a Graduate Town Planner to join its growing team in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career within a supportive and forward‑thinking environment, working on a broad range of projects across the UK.
The Role
- You will join a collaborative planning team, supporting on a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and mixed‑use developments.
- The role offers exposure to all aspects of the planning process, with responsibilities including:
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
- Undertaking site appraisals and planning policy research
- Supporting the preparation of planning statements and technical reports
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and external consultants
- Monitoring changes in planning policy and relevant legislation
About You
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in planning and working towards MRTPI accreditation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational ability with strong attention to detail
- A proactive and positive approach to learning and development
- A full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential
