Role Overview
As a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer, you will:
- Lead production of geotechnical drawings, calculations, reports and design documentation
- Analyse geotechnical data and develop ground models, foundation and slope stability designs
- Contribute to ground investigation planning and site inspections
- Work with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GEO5
- Coordinate with project engineers and clients to manage risk and deliver quality solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or equivalent
- Ideally MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics or Geotechnical Engineering
- Chartered status, or working towards chartership with a relevant professional body
- Strong communicator with a passion for geotechnical design and problem-solving
