An opportunity has arisen for a Remediation Engineer to join an established environmental team, supporting the delivery of remediation across the Midlands. The role involves a mix of fieldwork and office-based duties and would suit someone who enjoys practical site work alongside technical reporting.

As a Remediation Engineer, you will support remediation projects from site setup through to completion. Your responsibilities will include collecting and managing environmental data and carrying out site activities.

The Remediation Engineer will be responsible for handling and maintaining field equipment used for environmental sampling, as well as documenting soils and recording observations in the field. You will compile and manage technical site data under the direction of the Senior Scientist and engage with site visitors, including regulators and other stakeholders. The role also includes sourcing necessary technical supplies and equipment, attending project meetings both internally and externally, and assisting the Site Manager and Project Manager with on-site project execution.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Live within a commutable distance from the Birmingham office
