A UK-based sustainability consultancy is seeking an experienced Energy Assessor to join its expanding technical team. In this role, you'll work across a wide range of domestic and commercial developments, delivering energy modelling, compliance assessments, and technical guidance from early design stages through to final project delivery.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years' experience in building energy modelling or sustainability consultancy
- Proficiency with SAP/SBEM software such as IES-VE, Elmhurst, or equivalent
- Ability to undertake:
- SAP and SBEM assessments
- EPC production (domestic + non-domestic)
- Overheating assessments (TM59/TM52)
- Energy Statements for planning
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with BREEAM (Assessor or AP)
- Familiarity with OneClick LCA, TM54, or energy auditing (ESOS)
- Experience contributing to Whole Life-Cycle Carbon or Circular Economy assessments
- Understanding of Decarbonisation and Net Zero reporting
- Knowledge of Daylight/Sunlight or natural ventilation modelling
- Interest in mentoring junior team members or supporting internal technical development
