The Graduate Civil Engineer role will include: Assisting with civil and structural engineering designs and calculations Preparing technical notes, specifications and engineering reports Producing and reviewing drawings and design information Supporting design coordination and project delivery Attending site visits, surveys and inspections where required Working with engineers, technicians, project managers and other disciplines The Graduate Civil Engineer should have: A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline A sound understanding of core engineering principles An interest in developing practical design experience across varied projects Familiarity with UK design standards and Eurocodes, or a willingness to learn Good communication, organisation and IT skills The ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team Previous design experience gained through employment, placements or internships would be useful, but strong graduates will also be considered.
