This Senior Ecologist role will involve leading ecological surveys and assessments, producing technical reports, supporting Environmental Impact Assessments, advising project teams on ecological constraints and biodiversity, and working closely with multi-disciplinary teams across the UK. The Senior Ecologist will also support mentoring junior staff and contribute to the continued growth of the ecology function.

Requirements:
- Experience working as a Senior Ecologist within a consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of UK ecology legislation and planning policy
- Experience producing PEAs, protected species surveys and ecological reports
- Strong report writing and project management skills
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
- Membership of a relevant professional body desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Must live within a commutable distance of the Basingstoke office
