A well-established architectural practice based in North Devon is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its collaborative and growing team. The practice delivers high-quality residential, agricultural, and commercial projects across rural and countryside locations throughout the South West, including bespoke homes, conversions, heritage, and conservation schemes. The team is known for its technical expertise, context-sensitive design approach, and strong client relationships.

Daily Duties
- Preparing architectural and technical drawings from concept through to construction
- Producing planning application drawings and supporting documentation
- Assisting with Building Regulations submissions and technical detailing
- Undertaking measured building surveys
- Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities
- Supporting project delivery across multiple work stages
- Conducting site visits across North Devon and the wider South West
- Contributing to high-quality, sustainable, and context-sensitive rural design solutions
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Architectural Technician or Technologist with proven UK practice experience, preferably in a small practice environment
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Experience working on residential, rural, agricultural, or commercial projects
- Excellent technical detailing and drawing skills
- Proficient in Revit (with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and D5 Render advantageous)
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Able to manage workload independently while working effectively as part of a team
