We are seeking an Assistant Ecologist to join a growing, values-driven consultancy that genuinely cares about environmental impact. The role involves planning and delivering ecological surveys (bats, newts, badgers, birds, and more), coordinating with subcontractors, and supporting Ecological Clerk of Works activities. You will also work with maps, data, reports, and occasionally handle wellington boot emergencies.

This position is suitable if you have:

  • Solid consultancy experience (essential)
  • Survey experience and protected species knowledge
  • CIEEM Graduate membership (or working towards it)
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Report writing experience (such as PEAs and PRAs) is highly advantageous
