Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Aberdeen
As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering both asbestos surveying and analytical services to a high professional standard while ensuring full compliance with current HSE guidance and UKAS procedures.
Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will manage a varied workload across multiple client sites while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Undertake air monitoring, four‑stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248
- Produce accurate, detailed, and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
- Collect bulk samples and maintain accurate site records
- Work across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS standards
Qualifications & Experience
- BOSH P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and UKAS requirements
- Excellent communication and report‑writing skills
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional, reliable, and quality‑focused approach to work
