About the Role
Ready to hit the road and make a real impact in health & safety? We’re on the lookout for a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading consultancy team based in Derby. You’ll be travelling across the UK (all expenses covered!) delivering professional asbestos surveys, conducting re-inspections, delivering briefings, and compiling clear, compliant reports. Each day brings new environments - from schools and hospitals to industrial sites and residential buildings. This isn’t just a job - it’s a career with purpose and variety.
Your Day-to-Day
- Conduct Asbestos Management & Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys
- Carry out annual re-inspections of known ACMs
- Deliver asbestos awareness briefings to site teams and clients
- Write and review detailed, accurate survey reports
- Work across diverse sectors: retail, healthcare, construction, education, residential, and more
What We’re Looking For
- P402 qualified (or equivalent)
- 2+ years as a Lead Surveyor
- Strong communicator, dependable and proactive
- Flexible for UK-wide travel and regular overnight stays
- Comfortable working across a range of environments (care homes, construction sites, office buildings etc.)
- GCSEs in Maths & English (A-C or equivalent)
- Confident with Microsoft Word & Outlook
