Architectural Technician - 3 month contract Salary: £35-40,000 per annum (depending on experience) Location: Richmond-upon-Thames An established architecture and design practice is seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join its team on a 3-month contract basis in their Richmond-upon-Thames studio. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a range of leisure, spa and fitness projects, producing high-quality technical drawings and construction documentation while working closely with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and construction packages using AutoCAD. * Develop and coordinate technical information across all project stages. * Assist with planning applications, building regulations submissions, and technical approvals. * Liaise with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained. * Review and update drawing packages in line with project requirements and site conditions. * Support project delivery from concept through to construction. Requirements * Proven experience working as an Architectural Technician within an architectural practice. * Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. * Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing. * Experience producing technical drawing packages for planning and construction. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
