A well established construction services organisation with offices across the UK and Europe currently have an urgent requirement for an Air Tightness Tester o complement their team of engineers. You will be responsible for carrying out air tightness and acoustic testing across the North West England area for a number of high profile public and private sector clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to further develop their career within a highly successful engineering company where professional development is promoted and training provided. Qualifications Qualified in an engineering discipline Experience Background/previous experience in air tightness testing and building compliance Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as report writing will be one of the key aspects of this role An understanding and knowledge of a building\’s anatomy Computer literate Duties Responsible for carrying out air tightness testing across London and home counties area. Identify potential problems and/or weakness with the building design Suggest cost effective ways to improve the energy efficiency of the building. Undertake pre-test audits Produce detailed technical reports to identify potential leakage areas Compliance with Part L Building Regulations Projects/Clients Types of properties include Public and Private sector buildings ranging from single house tests to large scale development testing.
