An established and growing environmental and geotechnical consultancy is looking to recruit a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their Aberdeen team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of contaminated land, site investigation and remediation projects across Scotland and the wider UK.

You will be part of a supportive technical team, with exposure to projects from initial site walkovers through to detailed reporting and remediation support. The role offers a strong mix of office-based work and site experience, alongside clear opportunities for professional development.

The role will involve:

  • Phase 1 desk studies and site walkovers
  • Phase 2 intrusive ground investigations
  • Soil, groundwater and gas sampling
  • Factual and interpretative reporting
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and regulators
  • Supporting remediation and validation works

To be considered, you will have:

  • A degree in Geoenvironmental Science, Geology, Environmental Science or similar
  • Experience working in a geoenvironmental or contaminated land role
  • Understanding of UK contaminated land guidance and ground investigation practices
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Must live within a commutable distance from Aberdeen office
