Graduate Civil Engineer – Infrastructure & Drainage
Location: Wigan
Salary: Up to £32,000 (DOE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join a growing civil engineering consultancy based in Wigan, working on a varied portfolio of infrastructure and drainage projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Graduate Civil Engineer looking to develop their technical skills, gain hands-on project experience and build a long-term career within a supportive consultancy environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, contributing to the design and delivery of infrastructure and drainage solutions from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery.
The Role:
- Assist with the design and development of infrastructure and drainage schemes.
- Support the preparation of technical drawings, reports and calculations.
- Work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of projects.
- Develop your understanding of relevant design standards, regulations and industry best practice.
- Take an active role in project delivery while building your technical and professional capabilities.
About You:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng preferred).
- Ideally some exposure to infrastructure, highways or drainage design through studies, placements or previous experience.
- A keen interest in developing a career within civil engineering consultancy.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
