Town Planner – Lancaster

We are working with a leading housebuilder who are seeking a Town Planner to join their team in Lancaster. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile residential schemes and play a key role in the delivery of sustainable developments across the North West.

The Role

  • Support and manage planning applications for large-scale residential projects.
  • Provide professional planning advice to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake site appraisals and prepare planning statements.
  • Liaise with local planning authorities and consultees throughout the planning process.
  • Contribute to the identification of new development opportunities.

About You

  • An RTPI-accredited degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning.
  • RTPI membership or working towards chartered status.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in planning, ideally with residential or housebuilding exposure.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
