The Opportunity
A growing engineering consultancy is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join its Tamworth team. You will work alongside experienced engineers and other disciplines, supporting the planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure while developing your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support civil design across water and wastewater projects
- Assist with drawings, calculations, reports and design documentation
- Work alongside civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineers
- Develop your understanding of water infrastructure and hydraulic principles
- Apply CDM and health and safety requirements to project work
- Develop experience with engineering design software and digital tools
- Support project teams through different stages of design and delivery
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Interest in water, wastewater, utilities or infrastructure
- Good understanding of core civil engineering principles
- Familiarity with engineering design software or digital tools
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Commitment to professional development and working towards Chartership
