Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer
London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Looking for a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer role in London where your input is valued and your work has real variety?
This is a chance for a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading consultancy with a strong reputation for technical quality, collaboration and long-term career development. Working from the London office, the Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer will support a wide range of development projects across the South East and wider UK.
The Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer will be involved in residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use schemes, from bespoke developments through to large residential sites.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver highways and drainage design from concept through to construction
- Manage projects to programme and budget
- Prepare and review drawings, calculations, reports and specifications
- Support planning submissions including Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
- Coordinate with clients, architects and internal teams
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance
- Carry out site visits and support project delivery
Candidate requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
- Consultancy experience as a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong knowledge of S278, S38, S104, Manual for Streets, DMRB and drainage design
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PDS, Site 3D, MicroDrainage or Flow
- Chartered or near Chartered with ICE
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
In return, the Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer can expect hybrid flexibility, varied project exposure, a supportive team environment and a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 plus benefits.
