CAD Designer to join the team.

This exciting role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in Auto CAD (and preferably Brics CAD), along with a solid understanding of the construction or mechanical/building services engineering industry.

The role is predominantly office-based and requires daily attendance at the company’s Reading office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about design, who have a keen eye for detail and are looking to contribute to innovative projects.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and developing detailed designs using Auto CAD and, ideally, Brics CAD.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications and client requirements.
  • Conducting site visits as required (CSCS card required).
  • Uploading and downloading drawings using platforms such as Procore and Asite.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant products and technical standards.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of

5 years’ experience in a Construction Industry Subcontractor or Mechanical/Building Services Engineering role (or similar).

  • Proficiency in

Brics CAD is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with noise control products, sheet metal fabrication, and architectural louvres is advantageous.
