We are seeking an experienced quarrying specialist to join a successful engineering consultancy as a quarry engineering geologist in the Aberdeen team. As a quarry engineering geologist, you will play a key role in logging and geotechnical design, with aspects of staff mentoring and project managing on offer.

Key responsibilities for our quarry engineering geologist:
- Slope Stability Design: Responsible for the design, monitoring, and stability analysis of quarry slopes, stockpiles, and overburden dumps.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular, comprehensive site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., MSHA/HSE).
- Data Analysis Instrumentation: Manage geotechnical instrumentation (piezometers, inclinometers) and analyse data to proactively manage risk.
