A growing environmental consultancy near Ipswich is looking for a Principal Ecologist to lead ecological delivery across a wide range of development and conservation projects. The business provides integrated ecological and arboricultural services from survey through to mitigation and project completion.

As a Principal Ecologist, you will oversee project delivery, lead field surveys, review technical reports, and provide specialist advice to clients and stakeholders. The Principal Ecologist will also mentor junior staff and ensure all work is delivered to a high professional standard.

Requirements:

  • Strong UK consultancy ecology experience at Senior/Principal level
  • Good understanding of UK wildlife legislation and reporting
