We're working with a highly regarded independent planning consultancy that is looking to appoint a talented Town Planner to join its growing team. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of planning projects, supporting clients through the planning process from initial appraisal through to submission and determination. The role offers the opportunity to work on residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic development schemes across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals
- Undertaking site appraisals and planning research
- Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
- Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation
- Advising clients on planning strategy and development potential
- Attending client meetings, consultations, and site visits
- Degree qualified in Town Planning or related discipline
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
- Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority environment
- Strong report writing and communication skills
