Job Description Principal Geoscientist An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Geoscientist to join a specialist geoscience consultancy based in Oxford. The consultancy works across a range of technically challenging projects, providing specialist geological, geotechnical and environmental advice to clients across the UK and internationally. This is a senior opportunity for someone looking to take a leading role in project delivery, technical development and client management. As a Principal Geoscientist, you will be involved in a varied portfolio of projects, providing high-level technical expertise and supporting the delivery of complex geoscience investigations. Leading geoscience and ground investigation projects from planning through to completion. Planning and managing ground investigations and site works. Interpreting geological, geotechnical and environmental data. Managing projects, budgets, programmes and client relationships. The successful candidate will be an experienced Geoscientist, Engineering Geologist or Geologist with a strong technical background and consultancy experience. A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geoscience or a related subject. Significant experience within a geoscience, engineering geology or ground engineering consultancy. Experience managing projects and working directly with clients. Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.
