They are on the lookout for an experienced and driven Design Director to lead on a range of projects across the Midlands for their Loughborough studio.

Duties for the role of Design Director:

  • Deliver significant projects that involve masterplanning, concept design and detailed planning applications
  • Contribute to business development and generate revenue for the company
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Manage and mentor junior team members to contribute to their professional development and ensure successful project delivery

Skills and experience for the role of Design Director:

  • Degree within Architecture or Architectural Technology
  • Previous experience as an Associate Director within a UK practice or developer
  • Significant post qualification experience within the UK residential industry
  • Previous experience delivering residential led projects across the Midlands
  • Working knowledge of local authorities within the midlands
  • Track record of managing and mentoring a team
  • Strong experience within financial management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
