I am recruiting for an Assistant Civil Engineer to join a leading water industry consultancy in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Civil Engineer with around two to three years UK consultancy experience who wants to build a long-term career in a sector experiencing sustained investment and demand. This Assistant Civil Engineer role focuses on clean water and wastewater infrastructure projects supporting infrastructure renewal, resilience and environmental improvement. You will work closely with senior engineers, water companies and contractors, contributing to feasibility studies, civil layouts, pipeline routes and pumping station upgrades. The role offers exposure across design and delivery stages, alongside structured development and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with civil design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Produce drawings, calculations and technical reports
  • Support senior engineers with project delivery and client coordination
  • Liaise with contractors, stakeholders and external partners
