An established environmental and ground engineering consultancy in Lincoln is looking to take on a Geoenvironmental Consultant to support the delivery of a varied portfolio of site investigation and land quality projects. This role offers the chance to work on technically interesting sites while developing your skills within a supportive and experienced team. You will be involved in projects from initial desk study through to remediation and validation, working across sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and redevelopment.
Responsibilities
- Producing Phase 1 Desk Studies and Preliminary Risk Assessments
- Supporting Phase 2 site investigations and supervising site works
- Soil, groundwater, and gas monitoring and sampling
- Interpreting laboratory data and contributing to interpretative reports
- Undertaking quantitative and qualitative risk assessments
- Assisting with remediation strategy design and validation reporting
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulators
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geoenvironmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience in land quality and contaminated land projects (graduate to mid-level considered)
- Factual and interpretative report writing experience
- Familiarity with UK guidance such as CLR11, BS10175, and EA frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
