In the role of Senior Acoustic Consultant, your key responsibilities will include: Attending client and project team meetings, as well as liaising with external stakeholders. Conducting environmental noise, vibration, and building acoustics assessments. Performing site visits, sound insulation testing, noise monitoring, and presenting data analysis. Preparing high-quality technical reports, calculations, and other necessary documentation. Developing acoustic models using software such as CadnaA or SoundPLAN. Adhering to quality assurance procedures and technical standards across all projects. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions. Mentoring junior team members to enhance their technical skills and professional development. Project Management Duties: Managing acoustic projects from various sectors, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Overseeing project administration, including resource allocation and client liaison. Building strong relationships with clients to promote repeat business. Supporting the financial management of projects, including drafting proposals and invoicing. A degree (or equivalent) in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in consultancy within environmental and/or building acoustics. Proficiency in acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA or SoundPLAN. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and projects. A valid UK driving licence. Experience with Building Acoustics testing (UKAS/SITMA) and knowledge of Approved Document E. Conducting on-site noise monitoring and sound insulation testing. Participating in client meetings to outline project requirements and provide updates. Managing project budgets, timelines, and communications with clients.
