Senior Civil Engineer Sevenoaks Are you a Senior Civil Engineer with six or more years\’ UK consultancy experience ready to take true technical ownership and lead from the front? This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer who wants project leadership, mentoring responsibility and a clear route toward Chartership within a respected private consultancy. You will be joining a well-established engineering practice delivering commercial, retail and residential development projects across the South East. This Senior Civil Engineer role offers autonomy, influence and the chance to act as a technical authority while supporting the growth of junior engineers within a collaborative team. The role As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead infrastructure design packages from concept through to construction. Key responsibilities include: * Leading highways and drainage design for adoptable and private infrastructure* Managing S38, S278 and S104 submissions and statutory approvals* Acting as technical checker and expert user of Civils 3D and MicroDrainage* Liaising with local authorities, water companies and project stakeholders* Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing technical outputs* Supporting project delivery to programme and budget About you This role suits a confident Senior Civil Engineer ready to lead. You will ideally have: * A degree or Masters in Civil Engineering* At least 6 years\’ UK consultancy design experience* Strong experience in highways and foul and surface water drainage* Proven use of Civils 3D and MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow* Experience securing statutory approvals* Strong communication and leadership skills Eligibility to Apply Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
