A design-led architectural studio is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its team in Tunbridge Wells. The successful candidate will ideally be a Chartered Technologist with significant post-qualification experience, bringing strong technical expertise and a methodical, detail-oriented approach to project delivery. Working closely with Architects, you will play a key role in developing and delivering robust technical solutions across a range of projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings and comprehensive construction information
- Contribute across multiple project stages, supporting both design development and technical delivery
- Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and the wider project team
- Ensure all work complies with current UK Building Regulations and relevant legislation
- Assist with project coordination and help resolve technical design issues
- Support delivery with a practical and solutions-focused approach
Requirements
- Chartered Architectural Technologist (CIAT accredited)
- Strong experience within a UK architectural practice
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with Photoshop, SketchUp, or similar visualisation tools
- Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and statutory requirements
- Demonstrated technical ability with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively and adapt to changing project demands
