A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join a well-established ground engineering consultancy based in Leeds. The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of site investigation and geotechnical reporting, gaining hands-on experience both on site and in the office. Projects typically span residential, commercial and infrastructure developments, offering great variety and exposure early in your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with and supervising ground investigations
  • Logging soil and rock in accordance with current standards
  • Collecting and managing site data, including sampling and in-situ testing
  • Supporting the production of factual and interpretative reports
  • Developing an understanding of site geology and ground conditions
  • Liaising with engineers, contractors and clients

Requirements

  • Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Strong interest in ground investigation and geotechnical work
  • Good communication and report writing skills
  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards)
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn
