This Hydraulic Modeller opportunity in Sheffield offers technical progression and leadership exposure within a supportive environment. A specialist consultancy delivering wastewater and integrated hydraulic modelling projects is strengthening its modelling capability.

As a Hydraulic Modeller, you will build and verify hydraulic models, support surveys and site investigations, and contribute to project scoping and reporting. The Hydraulic Modeller will supervise graduate modellers, analyse results and engage with clients alongside senior staff. This role combines hands-on modelling with mentoring and project development responsibilities. A minimum of three days per week will be office-based in Sheffield, with flexibility built around project needs.

  • Build and verify wastewater hydraulic models

Candidate requirements
  • Relevant degree with modelling experience
  • Minimum three years' wastewater hydraulic modelling experience
  • Strong ICM 1D experience with some 2D exposure
  • Confident using Excel and GIS or mapping tools
  • Member of a relevant professional body
