About the Role: Your Contributions
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's operations, ensuring exceptional project delivery. Here's what your role would look like:
- Projects That Challenge and Inspire: Oversee the installation of HVAC and mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and hot/cold water services.
- Client Engagement: Represent the company professionally by attending client site meetings and keeping communication channels clear and effective throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactive Planning: Conduct surveys, support bid proposals, and negotiate contracts to kick-start projects successfully.
- Resource Management: Coordinate subcontractors, direct labor, and materials for timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Documentation and Safety Excellence: Prepare detailed Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Operation & Maintenance manuals.
- Attention to Detail: Monitor progress, uphold quality standards, and handle contract variations, ensuring snag-free completions.
- Versatility: Deliver projects ranging from £20k to £1m, bringing agility and problem-solving skills to every task.
What We're Looking For
Our client is searching for a committed and driven individual with:
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in the air conditioning industry and a strong grasp of relevant legislation and leading suppliers/equipment.
- Professional Qualifications: An ONC/HNC in Building Services (HVAC) is preferred. A valid CSCS card is essential.
- Project Management Skills: A track record of successfully managing projects from conception to delivery.
- Technical Savvy: Proficient in CAD drawings and IT systems.
- Communication Mastery: Excellent written and verbal skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.
