Job Description
My client, an innovative, environmentally-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing team of specialist consultants, based just outside the Welsh Capital City of Cardiff.
Essential Criteria:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field, such as Geography, Civil Engineering, etc.
- Experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and flood mitigation reports
- Working knowledge of conducting flood modelling surveys
- An understanding of flood risk data and its interpretation through GIS software
- Experience of presenting flood risk information to clients
It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Flood Risk Consultant to possess the following:
- Strong analytical skills and technical-mindedness
- Excellent standard of written English, particularly in report writing
- Experience of establishing and nurturing stakeholder relations
