Geotechnical Engineer South West London £36k-£40k plus benefits We are working with a busy multidiscipline practice based in South West London who have an opportunity for an experienced geotechnical engineer seeking a long term career with management prospects. One of the benefits of this firm is that they offer you 3 days per week working from home as standard. You will join a talented team of professionals within a dynamic working atmosphere. Responsibilities: Design tunnels, shafts, earth retention structures using FEM packages such as Plaxis, SLOPEM GEO5 and Wallap Prepare practical and economic conceptual designs Prepare detailed design in line with current codes and standards including calculations, design risk assessments and detailed sketches Produce ground investigation reports, geotechnical risk registers and design reports for earth structures Act as project leader and assist bid Director with fee proposals Monitor project progress and budget About you: Relevant degree At least 3 years' UK experience within civil engineering industry Member of ICE or FGS Diligent with excellent technical ability and strong communication skills Valid UK drivers licence If you have a positive attitude with a resilient nature and want to succeed and progress, we want to hear from you.
