They’re seeking a talented Environmental Planner with expertise in battery storage to help them navigate the intersection of energy innovation and environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
Environmental Impact Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the potential environmental impacts of battery storage projects, including land use, wildlife habitat, air quality, and water resources.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Sustainable Design: Collaborate with engineers and designers to integrate environmentally sustainable practices into battery storage project planning and implementation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with community stakeholders, environmental organizations, and regulatory agencies to address concerns and promote transparent, environmentally responsible project development.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Ecology, or related field.

Proven experience in environmental planning, preferably with a focus on renewable energy or infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and best practices for environmental mitigation.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex environmental concepts to diverse stakeholders.
