A creative, design-focused architectural studio is looking to recruit a skilled Architect to join its team in Sevenoaks. This is an excellent opportunity for an ARB-registered Architect with solid experience following Part 3 qualification to take ownership of projects from initial concept through to completion. The role involves contributing to high-quality, design-led schemes within a collaborative and supportive studio environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Take the lead on projects across all RIBA stages, from early design through to completion
- Develop innovative design concepts and carry them through to delivery
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and wider project teams
- Produce and manage drawing packages, presentations, and technical documentation
- Ensure all work complies with UK Building Regulations and relevant legislation
- Oversee project timelines and ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved
- Engage with clients, attending meetings and supporting project discussions and negotiations
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with RIBA Part III and ARB registration
- Demonstrable post-qualification experience
- Strong working knowledge of industry-standard CAD software
- Proven experience delivering projects from concept to completion
- Good understanding of contract types and project delivery processes
- Previous experience working within a UK architectural practice preferred
- In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and statutory requirements
- Strong design and conceptual skills, including freehand sketching ability
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Proactive and solutions-oriented approach
- Understanding of sustainable and environmentally conscious design principles
- Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
