Graduate Engineer - Site Supervision / Structural Engineering Pathway Edinburgh An established consulting engineering practice based in Edinburgh is seeking a Graduate Engineer for a role combining an initial site-based placement with a longer-term graduate structural engineering position.
The successful candidate will spend approximately the first six months in a predominantly site-based role, assisting with supervision and construction monitoring duties on a significant ground engineering project.
Following this initial period, the role is intended to transition into an office-based graduate structural engineering position within the firm's structural engineering team.
Applicants should be fully aware of this arrangement from the outset.
The initial site-based period forms an important part of the role and is designed to provide valuable practical experience of construction activities, site procedures, contractor liaison, site record keeping, and communication between site operations and the design office.
