The Role

  • Leading the technical delivery of complex geotechnical engineering projects
  • Providing expert advice on foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, and ground investigation strategies
  • Managing and reviewing geotechnical interpretative reports and design packages
  • Developing and maintaining key client relationships
  • Supporting business development, tenders, and framework opportunities
  • Mentoring and developing geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across large development and infrastructure schemes
  • Supporting the strategic growth of the geotechnical division

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline
  • Chartered status (CEng or CGeol) essential
  • Extensive experience within geotechnical consultancy
  • Strong technical background in geotechnical design and ground engineering
  • Proven leadership and project management experience
  • Strong client-facing and business development skills
