My market leading client is seeking skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineers. We have an opening for a candidate that is based between Kent and Southeast London. This is a national field-based role. If you are a motivated professional with a strong background in commercial gas systems and installations, we want to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reactive and fast-paced company with a focus on installations and maintenance.
Benefits

Responsibilities
- Conduct installations and maintenance of commercial gas systems, including boilers ranging from 300KW to 2MW containers and plant rooms.
- Handle gas leaks, boiler failures, and other reactive issues.
- Work on primary and secondary circuits, ensuring systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with fitters and work independently to resolve issues and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Participate in a 1-in-5 call-out rota, ensuring timely responses to emergency situations.
Day-to-Day
- Travel to client sites nationwide to perform installations and maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair gas system issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
- Work closely with fitters and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Be available for call-outs as part of the rota, providing expert support when required.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial gas tickets, including ICPN1 / ICPN1A and IGEM/UP/1A certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience, with a strong understanding of commercial gas systems and installations.
- Proven ability to work on boilers, client circuits, and plant rooms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A proactive and responsible approach to work, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
