A well-established consultancy is expanding its civils function and seeking a Civil Technician to support residential and commercial development schemes.

As a Civil Technician, you will contribute to drainage and highway design, working closely with engineers and the wider design team to deliver technical packages from planning through to approval. The Civil Technician will assist with modelling, drawing production and submission preparation, playing a key role in project delivery.

This Civil Technician role suits someone with at least two years’ UK consultancy experience who is confident using drainage software and working collaboratively within a design environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Produce drainage and infrastructure drawings
  • Support S38, S278 and S104 technical submissions
  • Model drainage networks using WinDes or similar software
  • Assist with ground modelling and highway layouts
  • Coordinate with engineers and external stakeholders
Candidate requirements
  • Minimum two years’ UK consultancy experience
  • Strong knowledge of drainage and infrastructure design
  • Proficient in XP Solutions WinDes
  • Experience with Civil 3D preferred
  • Confident working within a multi-disciplinary team
