My client, a forward-thinking, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Civil Infrastructure Technician to join their experienced team of infrastructure engineers and technicians in the culturally-diverse, environmentally-minded city of Leicester.
Essential Criteria:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Civil Engineering
- Demonstrable experience of working in an infrastructure and/or flood protection role
- Experience of producing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
- Excellent working knowledge of relevant software packages, including XP Solutions (MicroDrainage), Civils 3D, etc.

In the varied role of Civil Infrastructure Technician based in Leicester, you will join a dedicated team of experts in the field, with a view to developing your career and progressing with the company. The role will involve a number of exciting responsibilities, including:
- Produce Drainage Impact Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Flood Risk Assessments
- Support the Senior Engineer Engineers and management with the delivery of projects across a wide scope, adhering to budget and quality standards
- Provide assistance to Senior Engineers in project preparation, including calculations, specifications, etc.
- Assist the Design Team with the delivery of accurate drawings and models
- Carry out site inspections and surveys
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects
- Implement the company policy, particularly adhering to quality management
