Are you a motivated and enthusiastic Civil Engineer looking to grow your career on diverse projects? A leading Civil Engineering consultancy in Warwick is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their expanding team. This role provides the chance to develop technical expertise while supporting the delivery of housing, commercial, and industrial schemes from appraisal through to detailed design.
The Role
As a Civil Engineer, you will work within a collaborative team, taking responsibility for key aspects of projects while receiving guidance and support. You will contribute to feasibility, planning, and detailed design stages, gaining experience across a wide range of civil engineering work.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct pre-purchase feasibility studies and resolve planning conditions, including drainage and highways considerations

Prepare Flood Risk Assessments with support from the in-house flood modelling team

Produce detailed drawings and calculations for adoptable highways and drainage to Building Control, NHBC, S278, S38, and S104 standards
-
Prepare 3D ground models for volume calculations, cut and fill exercises, and vertical road profiles
-
Liaise with clients and external agencies including Environment Agency, Local Highway Authorities, and Water Authorities

Represent the consultancy at meetings, public exhibitions, planning committees, and public inquiries as required

Undertake site inspections and contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects

Work proactively towards chartership (ICE, IStructE, or equivalent)
About You

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Around 2 years of relevant consultancy experience

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Good understanding of civil engineering principles and current industry standards
