An excellent opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join a well established consultancy with over 30 years of industry experience. Responsibilities
- Carry out the full range of asbestos analytical duties across a wide variety of site types, including commercial, industrial, and public sector sites.
- Day to day responsibilities: air monitoring, leak testing, reassurance air testing, and completing four stage clearances to allow areas to be safely reoccupied.
- Work closely with asbestos removal contractors, site managers, and clients to ensure works are completed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with current legislation.
- Be involved in bulk sampling and producing clear, accurate documentation in line with company procedures and industry standards.
- Support survey teams by assisting with management surveys and refurbishment and demolition surveys, contributing to a flexible and collaborative approach across the business.
- Balance site work with autonomy, managing your own workload effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications; P402 is an advantage.
- At least two years of hands-on experience as an Asbestos Analyst.
- Strong working knowledge of HSG 248 and HSG 264, with ability to apply on site.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Strong report writing skills, good attention to detail, IT confidence, and a full UK driving licence.
