An award-winning architectural studio is looking to appoint a Senior Architect to strengthen its expanding team. This position offers the opportunity to lead a broad range of projects, taking responsibility for schemes from initial concept through to final delivery. The successful candidate will contribute to design leadership, project planning, and client engagement, collaborating closely with consultants, contractors, and colleagues to achieve outstanding project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of projects throughout all RIBA work stages, from inception to completion
- Producing innovative, functional, and technically sound architectural designs
- Overseeing project schedules, budgets, and team resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders throughout each phase of a project
- Preparing and reviewing planning submissions, design documentation, and technical packages
- Chairing project meetings and delivering presentations to clients, planning officers, and project teams
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior Architects and Architectural Assistants
- Maintaining compliance with Building Regulations, planning legislation, and industry best practice standards
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Architect registered with the ARB and substantial post-qualification experience within a UK practice
- Demonstrated experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
- Strong architectural design capability combined with technical expertise and project management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and the ability to produce detailed design and construction information
- Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning processes, and construction techniques
- Proven track record of delivering projects across all RIBA stages
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or managing junior team members would be beneficial
