CAD Planning Designer Location: Reading Salary: £35-45,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced AutoCAD Planning Designer to join a busy and expanding residential team in Reading. This role would suit someone with a strong background in preparing planning drawings for housing developments who enjoys working on a variety of residential projects from initial concept through to planning submission. The successful candidate will work alongside planning and technical professionals to produce high-quality drawings for new-build housing and apartment schemes, ensuring designs are accurate, compliant and delivered to project deadlines. The Role: Prepare planning and presentation drawings using AutoCAD. Develop site layouts, masterplans and residential floor plans for housing developments. Produce elevations and planning drawings for both houses and apartment schemes. Revise and update drawings in response to planning, design and client feedback. Ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations and relevant industry standards. Support the wider design team by providing technical drawing expertise throughout the planning process.
