Summary
An established, employee-owned environmental services company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Facilities Management and Water Hygiene sectors. This field-based role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and offering compliance-led water hygiene and treatment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business in FM and compliance-driven sectors
- Meet with key decision-makers and present tailored solutions
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
- Maintain and grow existing accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery
- Attend industry events and stay up to date with compliance standards (e.g. ACoP L8, HSG274)
Requirements
- 5+ years’ B2B sales experience, ideally in water hygiene or FM
- Strong knowledge of compliance and risk management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
